Lesson learned…
Lately we’ve been getting many telemarketing calls for the wrong person, even after many conversations after answering the phone. This morning I noticed they had called twice yesterday and one time being at 9:52pm! I was a little irritated. So I called them today and was transferred and when the gentleman took my number to look up in their system, he could find no such number. I assured him they were calling! After another couple of minutes of this he gave me a number to call a different department. So I called (and oh I forgot to mention the first waiting time was 10mins) and waited 6 or 7 mins for a lady to get on the phone for me to explain briefly they were calling the wrong person and she promptly said we’ll take your number off our calling list (I’ve heard that before). Before I had the opportunity to put my opinion (and I’m sure its one of most everyone in the US) out there that calling at 9:52pm is wrong-she HUNG up….as soon as she said “we’ll remove your number” that was it. I had waited 17 mins to express my “opinion” and didn’t even have the opportunity. I’m sure there is a great Proverb about my intentions for calling back and the results that would occur, and I unfortunately in a moment of fleshly weakness learned it.
Btw. if you happened to know that Proverb comment back.
